Amina-Kay Cantave M.Ed. is a Diversity, Equity, and Empowerment Consultant for the Consulting firm she founded: Académie Makaya.
She has a bi-disciplinary Bachelor in Psychology and Psychoeducation, a Graduate Diploma in School Administration, and a Master's in Education, all from the University of Montreal.
She completed several continuing education programs to enhance her knowledge and skills as a Diversity and Inclusion specialist.
She has experience designing, facilitating, and implementing programs, particularly in the areas of Diversity and Equity, Advocacy, Social Justice, Anti-racist education, Girls and Women empowerment, Indigenous inclusion, and Human rights.
She has worked for several years in the fields of Education, International Development, and Community organizing as a Teacher, Instructional designer, Diversity specialist, and Project manager in both Canada and Haiti.
Amina-Kay enjoys volunteering, traveling, and learning about different cultures.
